Fairfield Halls

Croydon Arts Report

The outcomes of the cross-borough discussions on Fairfield Halls and the Arts in Croydon have been summarised in a report which has been sent to the GLA mayor, the Arts Council, Croydon Council and some of our local schools.

You can download the report here.

Croydon residents attended a public meeting on Thursday, 21st March, 2013, organised by the SCCA. The meeting was called to generate ideas about what Croydon would like from the Fairfield Halls and how it can be improved.

Volunteers have formed a steering group which intends to meet in early April. The next open meeting will take place in May. Further details will be sent to SCCA members. Contact scca@btconnect.com if you’d like to be added to the mailing list.

  1. What have the Time Out London website got against the Fairfield. ‘Don’t use!!!!!’? – I’ve never heard such nonsense. Perhaps this would explain why we’re not getting enough footfall into the Fairfield from outside the Borough!

  2. That’s dreadful but I wonder if it was a remark that has since been removed, as I could not see it on the Fairfield information on the TO London website now.
